In the 1970′s, Leif Garrett was the Justin Bieber of the decade. Pop star, actor and Tiger Beat teen idol, Leif bedded hotties on the reg – like an 18-year-old Nicolette Sheridan and hit the top 10 with songs like “I Was Made For Dancing.” He also appeared as a “Sosh” in Coppola’s The Outsiders.
But, then came the drugs. The booze and the receding hairline.
Still, somebody felt strongly enough to immortalize Leif in a block of Hollywood cement. (Below the initials G & S – which we assume is the 70′s-80′s skateboard company “Gordon and Smith…)
Today, Leif is a reality TV mainstay. He still sings and has outlived many of his teen idol compatriots. We hope he’s staying clean and sober because America LOVES a comeback.
Until then, he may not get a star on the Walk of Fame, but he will forever be remembered in cement…
